MERRY
CHRISTMAS !!
May our families rejoice and

Thank you for another great year as a guild and I hope Santa is

I put the word in to Santa
for all our guildies to get what they want cause you all have
been so good through the year. Only one I'm not sure will get

EPIC NEWS !! - Give a huge
WTG to Sunshower and Kelson !! Sunshower is now the proud owner of the
Nature Walker’s Scimitar. Congratz, Sun :) !
Kelson now has in his possession both Ranger Epic Weapons

ALL GUILD MEMBERS ! - We are
no longer using passwords in the "Guild Members Only" chat
forums. Access is now handled by an "Allowed User List". If ya
ain't on the list, ya don't get in, hehe :). This means that our members
will never have to remember a password again to use the forums! It's also
alot cleaner and easier for us ole, feeble Admins to maintain :)
We need all of our members to make sure that they can
access the Great Hall and War Room forums. If you can't, please email me,
Seek or Tan with your EZBoard user name. If your account was created
before Oct. 15th 2003 let us know if it is a local or global account.
Are you a Ring of Truth member without an EZBoard account?
If you are, don't just sit there! Sign up and get to posting, soldier! LoL.
We would like to have everyone using the guild forums. If you have any
problems please let one of us Admins know. We are here to help :)
EVENTS PAGE - The Events page
is back up and ready for posting. All members can post on the calendar but
edits and deletions can only be handled by a Ring Officer. If you need to
edit a post please contact a Ring Officer or post the change in the Great
Hall forum and one of us will make the modification.
EVENTS - Fay raid for
Sunshower's Epic and a Ring Holloween Party are coming up. Check the
Events page and forums for details.
ADMINISTRATORS - I'd like to
thank Seek and Tanverian for the great work they do on managing the web
page and forums. Give them a hug next time you see them in Norrath. They

LDoN is HERE ! - Yep... Sony
got us to fork over more money for yet another expansion :) But this one
is looking real good and seems to have the guild's attention.
The Ring's first foray into LDoN was a learning experience
but it seems all had fun and no one died :) Tan put together a great page
about it that you can see here - Miragul's
Menagerie in Everfrost - The Morbid Laboratory
Check the Chat Forums for reports on LDoN hunts two and
three and for more LDoN information.
NEW MEMBERS - All you old
Ringers take a note of the new members we have gotten in and make them
feel at home. I'd like the new folks to get on the Chat Forums and get
involved. Ask questions, ask for help, or just share a chuckle, that's
what we are here for :)

EPIC NEWS! - Way to go and
give an extra helping of cat-nip to our favorite furry Rogue Furlined
Stickypaws !!! He now has the Rogue Epic weapon Ragebringer !
GUILD LOGO! - Everyone take a
look at the new logo on our home page and let's get some input on it. This
one was designed by Tanvarian and I think it's pretty cool. It needs
something in the gray half-circles on the top and bottom but not sure
what. Post your comments please.
ALLIANCE - The Xegony Council
has asked our humble guild to join its ranks. All members give us some
input. Check the link to the "Must Read Forum Messages" and lets
hear your thoughts.
EVENTS - Our always creative
Tanvarien has put up a new Events Calendar. Check it out and use it... or
else :)

KEDGE RAID !!!! -
Tonight June 25th 2003, the Ring will be having a Kedge raid. The
objectives include Corrupted Seahorse for Sunshower and Phinny for Seek,
Phlar, and whoever else needs epic pieces from the big flounder.
ROSTER - It's a trick,
nothings new with the roster, but I will update it soon I promise.
Hopefully I can do it this weekend. I'm also trying to research why
Mozilla/Netscape users can't view the roster.
PICTURE PAGE - I'm
trying to work on some new ways of doing our picture pages. Posting
them all on the front page is a little cumbersome. For now I've made
a small page with thumbnails from the last three events I've taken
screenshots at. Clicking the thumbnails will pull up a separate
window with the full size image. The Picture
Page includes shots from RoT Games Part 2, our 3rd Birthday party, and
our previous encounter with Phinny in Kedge.

GUILD BANK and SPELL BANK -
**Carrying this over from previous news post because it's important*** Big
changes. We are moving the bankers around for easy access and the bank
page will now be in the General Forums where we can update them faster and
get more guildie use. The Spell Bank has also been moved here and the list
is looking great. Seek has been working hard at whipping the regular Bank
and the Spell Bank into shape in this forum. Many thanks to Seek :)
All of our members should be able to view this forum
without being logged into EZBoard. Click this to check it out: RoT
Guild Banks Please give us some feedback.
Our guild bank has been dorment due to it not reflecting
the changes in our needs. It began with tithes to try to get some plat for
parties, guild trade skills and buying items for members when we were a
young guild. Tithes are now gone (I'll update the rules soon to reflect
that).
For parties, our members and Bankers will always come up
with the cash. We love parties :) No worries there.
Trade skills will now be subsidized but we need to work
out the details. No firm rules yet. More on that to come and also other
uses for the Bankers such as using them to horde spell and Rez reagents.
The revenue will come from Guild "Plat Parties"
and donations. We really want to make this work and give our members
another asset to use. All you casters... Use the Spell Bank. We have many
more spells then those listed presently. Ask Huks or Bad about the others
they have.

TIME FOR A BIRTHDAY !!!! - On
June 9th 2003, the Ring will have been in existence in Norrath for three
years! Clear your calendars, forget work and tell all loved ones in real
life you have a birthday/anniversary to attend in cyber-space that eve :)
The night we formed the guild we were ten scared,
wide-eyed newbs thinking we could do the guild thing better then anyone
else. Not to be uber, just to be the best people and friends EQ had to
offer. The fact that I am posting a third year party tells me those newbs
had the right idea. It's the people that count the most, always will.
So, let's get together on June 9th and remember the last
three years and enjoy the company of our EQ family and have fun :) Plans
will be posted soon here and in the forums.
ROSTER - Tanvarien has
created a totally new Roster page for us :) Check it out...yep, right now,
go ahead, click on Roster... it's the bomb. You can sort by Level, Race,
Name, Title, Time Zone or Alt just by clicking the heading you wish to
sort by. It's slick and I love it :) Many thanks to Tan :)

EVENTS - The First Official Ring of Truth Games Day
Well I believe all had a good time at the games and here is an update with screenshots of the games in action.

EVENTS - The First Official Ring of Truth Games Day
When: We will be holding Games Day Thursday, April 10th. 9PM EST
Where: We would like to meet everyone in the Nexus. Destinations will be kept a secret until game
time.
Why: To have a blast with our guild, and win prizes.
We will be going into two different zones, the objective of the game will be to kill everything in sight
within a certain time period. You will Loot all on mob, and keep it until end of game. At the end of the
game we will all tp to a bank, and sell everything we looted. If you get a drop you do not wish to sell,
then its not going to be counted, and its up to you and your partner if you want to roll on the item.
We will be pairing everyone in the guild up. We have a plan in place, it will be random pairing. You
may bring any of your characters. But remember it will be good to have a mix of high and low's.
Please try not to bring anyone under 30.
Rules:
1. Everyone please show up at the nexus with all coin deposited in the bank, and as many slots in your
bags as possible.
2. Any buffs will be allowed.
3. We will be moving to two different zones for this event. Yes, there will be a little bit of time, but
trust us we think you will enjoy it.
4. There will be no tracking, or Ks'ing of mobs..
5. Mobs may be killed in any way you like with the exception of AoE spells.
6. You must have one person in your group as the looter per zone. That person Must loot everything
except no-drop items. (We will leave that up to you if you'd like the no-drop item)
7. Genadara and Tanvarien will not be participating in the game but will be moderating and watching in
case anyone gets into trouble. (Unfair for us to play since we know the zones)
8. Prize(s) to be announced on game night.

NEW OFFICER - Tanverian is now an Officer of the Ring :) Tan has been an exemplary friend,
guildie and Ranger to everyone in the guild. WTG, Tan.
EVENTS - Lady Gena has proposed a great idea for a little guild rest and relaxation. We are going to
plan some fun-time for the Ring. Plans are in the works and I'll post the info when we have everything
figured out.
EPIC EVENTS - Still work going on to get Epics. Look for hunts in City of Mist and Mistmoore
coming up soon. Many thanks to all who have helped guild members get their items.
ROSTER - Gonna work on it in the next day or two. Bare with me, got a number of new members to
add and level changes to make.
LINKS - Updated. We now have 83 EQ related links that work :)

EPIC EVENTS - On this eve, we dropped our hunts and plans and followed our own, dear Kelson
as he turned in the items needed to obtain the first of his Ranger Epic Weapons, Swiftwind. He was
nervous, stressed and he got his Epic :) Kelson has always been an Epic Ranger, even without the epic
weapon :)
Kelson turns in the first of the items to Mairee in Erudin. Special thanks to Romidar :)

Kel spawns Usbak the Old. Me and 20 guildies hide in the closet watching :)

We joined together this eve to see our brother attain a long awaited goal. There was no fight or hunt.
There was no group or raid chat of note. There was only one hell of a proud guild gathering around a
loved one to witness his success and to share it with him

LINK PAGE - I just updated the Link Page. Cleaned out dead links and added a bunch of new sites. I even added a
site that rates the Taverns of Norrath so Huks could compare notes :) LoL. We now have 74 EQ links. That might be
the most working links of any EQ site on the Internet. Let me know if you find one with more and also send in any
sites you would like us to link to. - Missy

NEW MEMBERS - Everyone welcome Krastik, and Darwinite to the Ring :) Make yourself at home and please

EPIC EVENTS - Lady Genadara is now listed in EQDruid's Hall of Fame. WTG Gena :) Let's make sure we get
Flitter on there also.
Ellusions obtained another piece for her Epic on Wednesday night while waiting for all the Alts to get to her so she
could KEI them :) LoL. Bless you, Ell :)
CHAT FORUMS - Added the Games People Play Forum. Come in and talk about PC games, board games, card
games or ancient video games if you like :) Nice place to see what others are playing and maybe ask about a new
game before you spend hard earned money on it :)
Yes, I changed the passwords for the Great Hall and War Room forums. And yes, I had the perfect timing to do it on
the same day EZBoard had everyone relog to answer a security question. Sorry for any confusion :(
GUILD HUNTS - Alt Night has been a lot of fun :) Next hunt is this Wednesday the 19th. Hope to see you all there.

EPIC EVENTS - Hear ye, hear ye... on January 30th, 2003 our own Flitter By became the proud owner of the Druid
Epic weapon, the NatureWalkers Scimitar :) The dragon Fay lasted all of two minutes thirteen seconds. Thanks to all
who attended and made it look easy (and drank all our beer, lol).
One other special thing that eve was that Shoke visited us! Was wonderful to see him and we hope he can join us
again in the near future :)
Here's some pics of that eve. I never got a good pic of Fay. There was a dog-pile on her as soon as she spawned. I
did get a great shot of myself pummeling Fay's big toe but it was fuzzy (the picture, not her toe). If anyone got a good
pic of Faydedar please post it in the forums. - Missy

EVENTS - Well, we seem to be really into epics lately. Check the Events page and the Forums for upcoming hunts to
get Flitter and Roll their epic weapons. What used to seem impossible is rapidly becoming reality. Thanks to all :)
Our Alts had fun this Wednesday in Lower Guk. Was a bunch of fun and we owned the zone :) Many thanks to
Cliffjumper for the excellent guidance and to everyone that made it look easy.
ROSTER - Tan has been updating the Roster (bless you Tan :) and I just went back through it and added an update.
Keeping a current roster is a maddening thing. I'm going to do future updates as follows. When online I will do a Guild
list and take a screenshot of it from time to time. Updates will be based mainly on this. If you are online when I am (or
Tan, if he uses this method) we will get your info. If you are Anon or not on when we are you will need to email us
your info. I would like every member to check the list and inform me or Tan of any changes.
Welcome to the new folks:) Big Hiya's to Cent, Milkbone, Seasprite, Jinxie and to this big guy... He is now our first
Shadowknight who is also our second Ogre. See the Photo of the Week to meet Mighdee :) And no... he is not evil.
He's on the side of good and proved himself well in Lower Guk (just don't meet him in a dark alley, lol).
