EVENTS - Had a great time at the Christmas Party last night :) It is always a pleasure to be with you
all and I hope everyone had a good time. Three cheers to Seek for the party favors and the most
wonderful practical joke :) Us Warriors were not fooled though.... errrr.... we were....errr....playing
along with the joke....yeah, that's the ticket.... that's our story and we're sticking with it :) LoL ! <bows
to Seek but never takes eye off pet>
I'd also like to thank all that helped out with munchies, drinks and those that helped us with languages.
I now know what Elder Dragons say as they blast me :)

AN EPIC NIGHT !!
On the eve of Nov 8th, the Dragon Fay fell to the combined forces of the Ring of Truth and the Order of Anqara. Our
dear Lady Genadara is now the proud owner of the Druid Epic Weapon - The Nature Walker's Scimitar! Many
thanks to all who made this possible.
Aye, the photo is grainy but you can still see the smile that goes from ear-to-ear :) WTG Gena and WTG ROT and OoA on a helluva
battle and great team-work !!
Stay tuned, there's still more Epics on the way for our members. They're like eating chips... you can never stop at just one or two :) -

EVENTS - Thanks to our very own Kyee, we now have a user-editable calendar on the Events page ! It is password
protected and requires you have cookies turned on in your web browser. Members can find the password in the
Great Hall Forum and I will include it in the next guild message of the day in EQ. Guild members can add and edit
events as they need to for the current month or for events planned far in advance. Everyone thank Kyee and visit the
server that hosts our new calendar - Anthrofiction.com We will be continuing to have Alt Nights on a regular basis and
have just had our first "Plat Party" in Rathe Mountains. The Hill Giants came in droves and were just dying to help
finance our upcoming raids.Also, check for the impending fall of the dragon Fay in Timorous Deep. Our Druids want
Fay's epic component so we shall accommodate them in this endeavor. Stay tuned and check the calendar and

ROSTER - Updated. I just realized Revlis and Splunkies were not on the Roster :( Sorry guys. I fell asleep at the
switch. Updated a few folks on levels also. Send me any changes/additions you see needed. Also, if you want to add
a bio or pic to your Roster listing just let me know.
EVENTS - I am going to purchase a calendar program for the events page. On the longshot that I actually figure out
how to implement it, the program will give our members the abillity to add and edit hunt dates and hunt info on it.
Thought that might make it easier to post and organize hunts. Let me know if any of you are CGI wizards :)
We just had another Wednesday Night Alt Hunt. Was a solid group in Sol and I believe we all had a good time.

TIDBITS - If you have checked out the Tidbits page you might have seen our listing of Croow EQ Movies. Croow
has made several funny EQ video clips that I just loved, but his ISP went poof and his work vanished from the
Internet. Except on our site :) Seems if you do a search for Croow Movies our site is number one. He found us and
emailed me. Croow has given us permission to keep his movies on our server and to download and view his new
movies. Thank you Croow :) New movies wil be added soon.

Where to Start? - On August 25th we lost Lace Swiftsoul to a heart-attack after she spent several weeks in the
hospital. In Norrath she was our guild's heart and soul. In real-life she was my best friend and my beloved wife of
eighteen years. On September 14th we gathered as a guild and said our respects to Lace. Never was I prouder, never
did I feel so much love as on that eve. Lace, we love and miss thee. Look over us and continue to be our conscience
and our strength. You will be remembered and loved in two worlds and both worlds will be that much less without
you. Now it is time for us to regroup as a guild and move forward. Lace would want us to prosper and carry on the
work she had started with us and had been an intricate part of for the last three years. She loved the Ring and would
expect us to succeed. I don't plan on letting her down. Lace's webpage updated.
ROSTER - Welcome our newest members - Ynitsed, Cliffjumper, Zipity, Shalome, Skunkit, Mattress, Abraca
and Sisterwind. WTG Shalome on attaining level 60 ! (Do I hear a WOOT from the congregation?) hehe.

HUNTS - We are having a good time with level 30-40 Alternate character hunts every Wednesday or every other
Wednesday. Check the Message boards for details or speak to Kelson for details. Also check the Message board for
Epic component hunts. We have a number of guildies that can use our combined forces for their Epic.
FUTURE - We are a great group of friends and I am returning to EQ to lead the Ring, but most importantly to be
back amongst the best group of people I have ever been lucky enough to know. Our future, as always, is what we
make of it. We really dont need a leader or Officers. The Ring is a tight-knit band of the best folks online. We will

Hail Mishap - Last evening Aelitan handed the leadership of Ring of Truth over to Mishap. Let us all join together to

TIDBITS - Added some computer utility programs. Everyone download and use Ad-Aware. You've probably
been hacked by Adware or as I call it Scumware and don't even know it. Time to fight back and be aware that web

"Mishap hangs her head in humble humility " - Sorry for the hiatus my friends. Work has been more draining than
normal. Also, my son and I have been playing some new computer games. Gotta bond when you can with a 17 year
old son :) My Web Muse sort of ran off for a longer than usual "walk-about" but it's back now and I have a bunch of
work stacked up :)
NEW MEMBERS ! - Welcome to Harmonious, Tanvarien, Durangojoe, Sunshower, Kyee and Purrfurr !! All
are great folks and fun to be grouped with. Keep Purrfurr away from sandboxes and the living room drapes though :) -

SPELLBANK ! - Huks and Baddog have compiled more spells than most "Uber" Guilds have ever listed. They
are a relentless and very impressive resource that our casters should take advantage of. They now have so many spells
that they are no longer listing lower level ones. Lower level caster guildies should ask or email Huks or Bad for info on
their spells. We need to come up with a way of repaying Huks and Bad. Their "mules" must be getting tired hauling this
Spell Library around :) - Spell Bank Updated.
WTG !!!!! - Our own Lady Vilett is the first among us to hit level 60 ! Also, congratz to Lady Lace for getting the
title Baroness in alternate skills.
WEBPAGE ! - Alzyre and Tanvarien have offered their help on our web page. I believe I shall take them up on
their offers. We need more content and faster updates. Al and Tan, I'm going to add a message forum just for web

Well, lets try a new look ! Hope ya'll like it. I went with basic black since it goes with everything. :)
I'll be making a bunch of changes but the high notes are as follows : New look. I'll be looking forward to hearing your
comments. We have a link now from this news page to important or interesting messages in the forums. The Spell
Bank now has it's own seperate link in the menu. We have a Photo of the week shown (hey, it might get more pics
sent in when folks get tired of this first one I posted if it doesnt changed for three weeks :). I am hoping to add more
content. Particularly the nuances of raids and multi-group hunts. For this, I would like to call on our members who
have organized these types of hunts and their writing skills. Ael, Kel, Seek and Janelane (and others in our guild) all
seem to write well and plan well. It would be nice to see them outline and discuss hunt plans that are easy to find
without sifting through the message board. We have to do something with the Tidbits page and I thought this would be
a useful addition to our members. It would be a series of "How To's For Hunt's ". Let me know if there is an interest

Everyone needs to check out the possibillity of our guild forming an alliance with Order of Anqara and Eye of the
Manastorm. We would be three guilds helping each other out on raids and we would have a chat channel between all
of us. Please keep in mind this open channel will not be used as a TP Hotline or as 1-800-BEG-AREZ. It's for finding
like minded groups and for raid use.
I have a bunch of work to do on the site and I hope you'll all like the end result. Send me comments, photos or

Thanks to all that raided The Hole zone last Saturday. Ael and Daje got parts for their Epics and a good time was had
with our Order of Anquara raid-mates :) Another raid is planned this coming Saturday, check the Message Board for
info.
Three cheers to Janelane for being the first amongst us to attain her Epic Weapon ! Jane is a real backstabber now
and I mean that in the best of ways :)
PASSWORDS for the Great Hall and War Room have been changed. Sorry for the hassle but passwords should be
changed regularly to ensure that only current members have access to our guild message boards. I will post a guild
MOTD with the new passwords.

Hi all :) Roster updated but I fear I am missing folks. Welcome to the new members and I'm sorry if I missed you.
Please email me with additions or changes. Also, I am thinking of removing all member pages that do not have a bio or
pic. It would be less work and space. Only those members willing to send in a bio and a pic would have a page. Let
me know what you think.

Guild hunt last friday night was fun and I think most of us have Seb keys now. Aelitan did a great job finding us an
alternative hunt when we found CoM to be camped.
I want to get some use out of the Event Page. We need to post next hunt on Event Page two weeks in advance. That
would give enough time for all to read and make changes if needed. Plus we will have more time to plan and discuss
the hunt in the Message Board and make sure we can attend it. Let me know if that would work. - Mishap

Heavy is the head that wears the crown. Lady Lace has been our Queen since almost our inception. She has led us
well. She has also had to deal with the daily chores that leadership entails. She has grown weary of it and wishes to go
back to her biggest worry being if her leggings match her bp. She wants to get back to playing for fun :)
Last night in Surefall Glade Lace transferred leadership to Aelitan. The vote for Aelitan to lead was unanimous by the
Officers. Lace will remain in the guild as an Officer.
Aelitan has been a wonderful person to be with and has proven himself time and again to be a leader. He does us an
honor to lift the crown of leadership and place that burden opon his brow. We hope all of our members show him full
support and wait at least a week before beseiging him with problems, situations or concerns :) LoL
Welcome our newest member, Lace :) She's a 55th level Druid and she's very special to all those that really know her.

On the subject of missed things I need to apologize to Tyreson. He has been an Officer for some time and I failed to
update his title in the Roster. Two days spent in the Queen's Torture Chamber has restored my memory and I have
added the title. And no Tyre, the Torture Chamber is meant to be a punishment and you can't buy tickets :)
